Nancy Clark's Bio
Nancy has been a Healthcare Provider since 1978; in Dentistry, as a Women's Health Educator/Advocate and Director of Iowa City Free Medical Clinic.
Recovery from an accident in 1980 led her to seek natural healing, allowing her to explore Chiropractic, Massage, Yoga and Meditation benefits. These experiences ignited her desire to become a Natural Health Care Provider. She graduated in 1985 from New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics.
Practicing in a clinical atmosphere with rehabilitation, pain relief and injury recovery stimulated her to study many soft tissue therapies; utilizing Cranial/Sacral, Myotherapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Trager, Anatomy Train theories and other myofascial & neuromuscular techniques. She had great success.
Bowenwork found Nancy in 2004! Her own profound recovery with a Frozen Shoulder initiated her training. Studying Bowenwork has shifted her paradigms of natural healing and grounded her in a deeper holistic understanding of the physiology of the body's natural capacity to heal and live in balance.
Opening Bowenwork Health Center, Marysville in 2005 and Mount Vernon in 2007; Nancy is committed to educate people of the benefits of natural health care, assist them with greater body awareness and empower people to live life with natural ease and vitality!
Her intent is to be present; facilitate exploratory and curious dialog; empower people by engaging in deep thought and sharing of information; and allow people to experience this unique technique that deeply changes lives!!
